Junior Dolphin Watch – years K-6

River Guardians offers Junior Dolphin Watch as a FREE program in incursion or excursion format for primary students in years K-6. The program covers the Dolphin Watch citizen science project, how we identify each individual dolphin and their behaviours, and the threats dolphins face living in a heavily urbanised environment. Students learn practical ways they can help protect the dolphins and the habitat which sustains them. The program consists of an interactive presentation with hands on activities and games. The class gets a copy of the FinBook Guide to keep too!

Junior Dolphin Watch links strongly to WA Curriculum Science and HASS outcomes throughout K-6, and the Sustainability cross-curriculum priority.
