An inspiring day exploring WA’s unique flora and fauna, conservation, research, and our role in helping nature thrive.

Head along to the marquees near the Everlasting Meadow at the corner of Lovekin and Forrest Drives, opposite the Yorkas Nyinning Building to hear talks from Sue McDougall, Josh Byrne, NatureLink Perth, Detection for Good with Kelly the detection dog and ReWild Perth.

River Guardians Ambassador, Josh Byrne, will be on stage delivering his RiverWise Gardens presentation from 11am – 12pm, with the final 20-30mins allocated to answering your gardening questions! Learn how to create a waterwise, climate resilient garden that will help protect our precious rivers and support biodiversity and wildlife.

A day on the Bay 2026:

This event is being delivered by the Town of Claremont and will feature an array of stall holders, including River Guardians. Come on down to the Claremont foreshore on the Swan River and get the latest tips from Josh to help you transform your garden into a waterwise, RiverWise, climate resilient garden that helps support local biodiversity and our wildlife.
