Come and join us for the second edition of the River Guardians Festival at Sir James Mitchell Park (opposite the Wesley College Boatshed, South Perth) on Saturday 5th of April, 2025.
ABC Radio (featuring Sabrina Hahn and Amber Cunningham) are coming to the party and will be doing a live broadcast on the main stage (6am – 10am), which will also include the popular ‘Roots and Shoots’ program.
This year’s festival will also feature the launch of the WA Tree Festival, ‘Our Gardens, with Josh Byrne’ presentation, Dolphin Watch researchers presenting their latest findings, special workshop activities (see list and times below), Expert Panel Session facilitated by Josh Byrne and an exciting array of 16 stall holders (8am-12pm) promoting the great conservation and volunteering work that is going on in the Swan Canning Riverpark.
There’ll be something for everyone…including the kids. We’ll be joined by the River Faeries, West Oz Wildlife with their koala, snakes and lizards (that you can touch and have photos with) and Carnaby’s Crusaders with their pop-up aviary and educational cockatoos.
Don’t miss out on this free, fun and informative event. There’ll be plenty of free parking on Sir James Mitchel Reserve courtesy of the City of South Perth.
For more details check out our FULL schedule here. We look forward to seeing you there!
