The draft Derbal Yiragan (Swan) Djarlgarro (Canning) River Protection Strategy is now open for public comment until Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Spanning 126,000 square kilometers, this river system flows from Fremantle through Perth City and the metropolitan area, across the Darling Scarp, and into the wider Avon catchment. It’s home to dolphins, a huge variety of fish and birds and is a place we all love to sail, boat, dive, swim, fish, canoe, kayak, walk, ride our bicycles and more.
