The Fairy Tern is one of Australia’s smallest and rarest seabirds. Each year in spring, many of them migrate to the Point Walter sandbar to lay their eggs and raise their chicks. However, nesting so close to human activity has many challenges and the Fairy Terns are at risk! Join us at Point Walter Reserve, to learn all about the fabulous fairy terns, why this area is so important to their survival and how we can all help to protect these amazing birds. Finish off the morning with your fairy tern inspired craft! This activity is suitable for children 4-7 years of age. Tickets must be purchased for participating children only
