Monitoring seagrass, water quality, and fish communities at Point Walter
Sep 21Join scientists from DBCA’s Rivers and Estuaries Science program and Murdoch University to celebrate the forthcoming World Rivers Day. This short workshop will include hands-on activities exploring the water quality and biodiversity of the Swan estuary at Point Walter.
Whether you’re an inquisitive adult, or a high school or university student interested in marine and environmental science, this workshop will give an insight into the science and monitoring methods that our researchers apply in Perth’s most important waterway.

What to bring: Water wading will be required! Bring shoes that can get wet, and pack a towel to dry down afterwards. Waterproof and wind-proof, warm upper layer is highly recommended.
