DESCRIPTION:A Day on the Bay is a family-friendly event set against the beautiful backdrop of the Claremont Foreshore. \nRiver Guardians will be down there with a marquee talking to people about Dolphin Watch\, Reel it in and other projects and there’ll be all sorts of fun activities taking place on the day including: \n\nKayaking\, Paddle boats\, paddle swans and other water-based fun\nKite flying\nBiodegradable glitter station with the Eco Faeries\nSustainability stalls\nCuddly animal farm\nFood vendors\nLive music and performances\nMeet a mermaid\n\nThis is a sustainable\, environmentally-friendly event and we ask that you bring your own water bottle. There’ll also be a water tank to allow free refills of water bottles. \nWe encourage walking or cycling to this event. Please see our map here for parking options.

SUMMARY:Luca's Legacy - clean up event in Mandurah
DESCRIPTION:In 2019\, Luca\, a 1-year old calf was observed entangled in fishing line. Luca was rescued and the fishing line removed but would soon become entangled another two times after this. Unfortunately\, during the third disentanglement attempt\, Luca sadly passed away. In response to Luca’s death\, an annual clean-up event ‘Luca’s Legacy’ has been set up to remove fishing line and other waste from the Mandurah waterways. \nPlease join us on Sunday 25th October at our home base at the Port Bouvard Yacht Club (1 Thisbe Drive\, Dawesville) \n\n8.45am volunteers will sign in\, receive equipment and start clean-up at 9am\nOui Love Coffee Van will be there for your morning fix!\n10.30am Clean up finishes – After the clean up\nFree sausage sizzle and cool drink available for all participants\nEnjoy the Stalls\, Kids Activities\, Educational talks and Prize Presentation
