River Guardians Festival

Join ABC presenters and Perth’s leading advocates of urban biodiversity at the inaugural River Guardians Festival held on the banks of Derbarl Yerrigan, South Perth.

Featuring the ABC Radio Perth Breakfast Show hosted LIVE by Amber Cunningham, and Gardening Australia’s Josh Byrne talking on ‘RiverWise gardening’, this FREE event will provide the information needed to help support the health of Perth’s iconic Swan Canning Riverpark.

Stall holders will host citizen science and kids river ranger activities, including interactions with reptiles and marsupials, crafts with the Dolphin Watch and Water Faeries crew, as well workshops on habitat creation and wildlife photography.

This educational and family fun biodiversity event is not to be missed.
