Partners
The River Guardians Program relies on partnerships with local and State governments, foreshore community groups, indigenous people, and businesses to run successfully.
The program is delivered by the Swan River Trust, the State Government agency set up to protect and enhance the ecological health and long-term community benefit of the Swan Canning river system. The Trust works with local, State and Commonwealth governments and the community to achieve these outcomes.
Funding to develop the program was provided by the Gaming Community Trust courtesy of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor and ongoing support will be provided by the Swan River Trust.
