The Swan and Canning rivers form an integral part of most West Australian’s lives. They provide us with a place to socialise, play sport, fish, cruise on boats, observe wildlife and enjoy community events.

The rivers are important to our lifestyle in Western Australia and play a large role in our cultural and historical heritage. We can all do our bit to help protect and preserve them. The River Guardians program connects you with people who are doing great work for the rivers. It will give you the opportunity to be involved as little or as much as you like.

Reduce our carbon footprint

We would like to reduce our carbon footprint. Please let us know if you wouldprefer an electronic copy by emailing us at guardians@swanrivertrust.wa.gov.au.

Have a safe and happy Christmas and I look forward to seeing you out and about in the new year helping to keep our rivers healthy.

Marnie Giroud
